The World Cup Round of 16 concludes today with four teams battling to advance into the quarterfinals. Italy, China, Netherlands, and Japan will all be competing.

Here are some things to look out for today:

First match of the day will feature Italy facing off China. Italy enters the match as favorites on the day, collecting two wins in group C over Australia and Jamaica. Forward Barbara Bonansea has been performing well for Italy during this World Cup and will have a test against China’s defense. China has had trouble producing offense with their star forward Wang Shuang not playing at top fitness, and have relied on their defense thus far. Look for China’s goalkeeper Peng Shimeng to have another big game.

Second match of the day will have Netherlands taking on Japan. The European champions enter this match as favorites having won their three group matches. Japan is the second youngest team in this World Cup - and after a tournament opening 0-0 draw against Argentina - have looked like they are growing stronger in their tournament with each performance.

Winners of both of these matches will face each other in the quarter final.
