Group play continues to wrap up this week with Group D playing their final round today. England, Japan, Argentina and Scotland all play today and here are some things to look out for and help you decide which match to follow.

Japan takes on England and both teams are in positions to advance as they play for positioning. England enters the match with 6 points on top of the table and the Lionesses are playing to win the group. Japan enters the match with 4 points and are currently sitting in 2nd on the group table, a win over England will give them first place in group D. These two teams last played each other back in March during the She Believes Cup, where England won, 3-0. Both squads have improved since, and Japan could frustrate England with their possession and patience.

Scotland will face Argentina in match that is likely to bring high some fervor today, as Scotland is playing to keep its World Cup journey alive, with Argentina playing with the same hope. Argentina enters the match in third place with a point in the group, and Las Pibas need a win over Scotland to help them advance into the round of 16. Estefanía Banini has been a force as she has captained Argentina through their first World Cup. While Kim Little is trying to lead Scotland from the bottom of the table. Both teams can make history today for their nations with a win, we’ll be keeping our eyes on this one.
